Marlene Waldock of 1st Impression Communications and I reconnected both through Facebook and then at a recent trade show. These situations reminded me how important regular contact is as the last time we enjoyed a meal together my business focus was extremely different than it is now. The last time we connected, I shared about a particular venture now long gone. A lesson learned that unless you continue to maintain contact, you are not keeping everyone you know abreast of what you are doing, how you can help others, or giving them the opportunity to use your product or service or able to refer to you. Fortunately, the tools today of blogging, e-newsletters and email help.
